The EVHS Counseling Department focused on GRIT this year, and Counselor, Alan Oakes is living that!
He is doing the Alcatraz swim on June 28th to raise awareness and support for The Locker! Just 3 days after his 60th birthday, he will swim 2 miles from Alcatraz to shore in 55* water! The currents are rough, the water is cold, and the wildlife is plentiful. Alan has GRIT!
